Random Pet Peeve of-the-day
So, I don’t like when a movie comes out based on a book, and they reprint the book to have a movie-poster version of the cover.  It’s not the reprint’s existence that annoys me, because I know some people enjoy having actors/actresses’ faces staring at them from the front of their books and destroying any other inner notions of what those characters might look and/or act...

Random Chat About Microwaves.
Guy I Work With: At home, I put it on 99 minutes, and then every time I need to cook something, I just have to put it in there and push start.
Me: What?!? How do you know it's ready then??
GIWW: You just have to stay nearby and when it pops, you know it's done.
Woman I Work With: I do NOT want to see the inside of your microwave.
GIWW: Oh yeah, that's the other thing. You know that glass plate that's in the microwave? I've kept every one from every microwave I've ever had. So when whatever I'm cooking is done, I also use the microwave plate as my plate, and replace it with another one.
Me: Wow, your wife must love you.
GIWW: Yeah, she hates that, actually....
