Ugh. I love you, Darren Criss. Seriously.
(Also, I wish I was made of money so I could go to NYC sometime in the next few weeks. Le sigh.)

Chord Overstreet as Sam Evans. How it started and how it ended
I’m seriously extremely bummed that Chord’s not coming back next season. :( Sam was definitely becoming my favorite character. He was relatively drama-free and honest and loyal. And I was kind of excited at the prospect of Sam & Mercedes together. Dang you, Chord! Why do you hate me?!?

Rolling In The Deep (Glee Cast Version featuring Jonathan Groff)
Not sure how I feel about this … effin’ love this song, but I’m not sure I like what Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff did with it. (This may be partly because I was never a huge Jesse fan, haha.)
I will say that part of what I love about Adele is that she sings to her own beat. She lingers on certain notes and moves quickly past others - there’s a tempo in the background, but she doesn’t let it control the song - her voice is the main instrument. The Glee version of it feels too robotic cuz it’s so on the beat. Also, Jonathan’s voice feels too rough for the song.
I do, however, like the harmony in the chorus. And I like that they at least attempted to make the song sound different, instead of just straight up copying the original like Glee does so many times….
So there we are. My official review, as a major Adele fan and a minor(ish) Glee fan. I am pretty excited that this is the 2nd Adele song they’ve done, in quick succession. I like it, Glee. Keep it up. :)

Can I just say … for those of us who love both AVPM and Glee, this is absolutely ridiculous. And somehow, extremely hilarious at the same time. Gotta love it.

Finn: Hey, uh, so we’re your students. All year long you suffer through dealing with us. I imagine having some of us in your classes would slowly chip away your hopes and dreams, until the whole world just felt like a never-ending nightmare of pain.
Mr. Schuester: Why don’t you just get to the point, Finn?
Finn: Right.
