These are things I found in my favorite Austin bookstore.

First I found some .  Very punny.  Then I found these , which reminded me of an pi (ya know, the greek letter which is, mathematically speaking, 3.141592653…, representative of the circumference of a circle divided by it’s diameter?  obviously?) ice tray I bought on the internet recently - .  Anyway, back to the story.  I saw these .  I assume the squirrel could keep his nuts in there quite nicely (yeah, that was bad - sorry).  And then I stumbled upon , a table full of supplies for bacon-lovers.  Which is odd.  But I want some of the bacon bandaids.  Maybe another secret santa gift.  But my favorite thing on the bacon table was .  Monsieur Tofu can be a nasty little fella.  Check out the monocle.  Clearly he means business.

So, everybody’s getting the swine flu.  It’s not that I think it’s some deadly disease or anything, but nobody’s really protected from it, so it’s spreading like wildfire at our school.

I’m scared … I can’t afford to miss work.  Well, my students can’t afford for me to miss school.  Pray I don’t get sick!!  Maybe I should get one of those surgical masks to wear at school.  That and take lots of vitamin C.
